What is Testnet ?

A testnet is an experimental blockchain created specifically for developers to test new features.

Testnets are essential for projects to help detect system errors or problems, as well as potential vulnerabilities that can be exploited by malicious parties. Some projects even launch bug bounties to look for errors in the system and reward them accordingly, such as the swisstronik bug bounty.
